On the way back... from Egypt

Tragedy never ends... or should I say its our mistake or whatever. Reached airport and realized that I need to goto loo and; Gosh we have no printouts of the ticket booked by Mr. Waleed. Thought it would not be a problem, as we had our ticket numbers, but how wrong I was. After entering the airport, the security guy took our passports as we did not had the tickets. I went to Kenya Airways helpdesk to get the tickets and (this one is more interesting) the helpdesk person says, "you have just booked but its not yet confirmed". I then had to explain him that I need internet, so that I could show him the confirmed status which we had in mail. So somehow I convinced them to use their system and showed them the confirmed ticket. So what..., no sigh of relief, now the person says, he cannot give me boarding pass as I don't have the Credit Card number used for booking the tickets (I never knew we need such details), so later he explained that its for some security reasons...I again somehow managed to explain him that tickets were booked by the company and we were there for business trip etc...Though people there said that, they totally understand my problem and appreciate my politeness but, I know they were aiming for stupid.
After lot of conversation, they agreed to give me the boarding pass and asked that what is the proof that ticket is booked on my name. Passport the most obvious proof huh, was with the security outside. Poor Vamsi, I have no idea how he must have felt waiting there and expecting something from me. When I reached to the security person for my Passport, he asked me to wait out (ofcourse he did not know ENGLISH... for once i thought, kaash...ARABIC baat karna ataa) not ready to listen whatever I spoke. Thankfully a beautiful lady who was able to understand my problem made the security guy understand he let us in and gave us the passport for ticket confirmation. Later we got Boarding passes...
I think we were not much relieved, when we saw the time. It was almost 2130 and departure time was 2155. We rushed and made it. Wow what an experience, learnt the art of controlling bowel. Finally reached Nirobi and right here am typing this mail... too long wait here 12 hrs in transit... remembering old times sitting here on the same table and surfing net. During that time we were fixing the sentry lock issue hahaha....
hoping to be soon in my country!!!
